So as part of the plan to get healthy, lose weight and fight the Type 2 diabetes I've been diagnosed with, I've been told, in no uncertain terms, to cut out coffee and all other such beverages.
Well, following a weekend of binge drinking at a roleplaying convention, I've been cold turkey since Monday morning. And slight headaches aside, I seem to be coping relatively okay. Only time will tell if I can keep it up though.
If anyone reading this know of a good 4e character worksheet, something that helps to work all the bonuses and stuff, could they please point me to it.
I don't need character sheet, I have a nice one of those, I just need something to make recalculating everything on leveling up that little bit easier.
I’ve decided to close my World of Warcraft account after a little under two and a half years of play. Even having added the Burning Crusade expansion at the beginning of the year, I just no longer find it enjoyable and have for the last couple of months been paying for what is nothing more than a bloated chat client.
Sure, I will miss a few of the friends I’ve made whilst playing, but there are other ways to stay in touch. Hopefully I’ll have a little more free time to dedicate to doing my podcast, as well as maybe some face to face roleplaying.
It was an experience I’m glad I took part in, but now it’s time to move on.
Spent today up at Mad at their open day in the company of madjon, tinypinkbubble and a whole host of very friendly bikers, plus some very beautifully turned out machines. At one point there were over 30 Harley Davidson's in attendance, thanks to a visit by the Nene Valley (I think) Harley Owners Club.
The two pictures show tinypinkbubble being wheeled in to the workshop on the bare bones of her new trike, thanks to the stirling efforts of Lenny.
More pictures to follow on my Flickr stream once I've had a chance to get my head around Lightroom.
Would just like to close with a big thank you to everyone at Mad for a very enjoyable day. Until next time.
A potential project has come up for which I would need a video camera, something which I don't currently own. There is no funding right now, so I'm looking to score one on the cheap :)
Only really requirement is for DV out so I can suck the video in to my Mac for editing and post production.
If anyone has anything suitable they want to get shot of or knows someone who does, I'd appreciate the info.
I'm in the process of setting up a new blog using Blosxom, but the layout files are old fashioned tables.
I'd really like to move to a CSS layout but don't know where to start. So I'm looking for recommendations of good books or online tutorials to check out.
to everyone for their kind birthday wishes, be they by post, comment, text message or card. They were really appreciated and definitely raised a smile or two.
Now if you'll excuse me, grumpy service will be resumed :)
